With the in-house DT-Swiss tubeless sealant, the Swiss wheel specialists complete their own tubeless kit. In contrast to many other manufacturers, DT-Swiss goes one step further and offers specific versions for road and MTB use. The high-pressure version (Road) develops its optimum sealing effect at pressures of 4 to 7.5 bar. Thanks to thicker sealing particles compared to conventional sealants, the DT-Swiss High Pressure sealant can immediately seal cuts up to 3 millimeters in size. For optimum performance, DT-Swiss recommends filling a road bike tire with a width of 23-35 millimetres with 60 millilitres of sealant. In addition to use in tubeless tires, it can also be used as puncture protection for tubes and tubular tires. Important for racing: The High Pressure Sealant is compatible for use with CO2 pumps.
